Why become a member of the city of associations ?

Because you are losing a lot of time and energy in managing your non-profit organization.

You have created your non-profit organization with a clear objective. It is stated in your articles of association. 

You did not create yourself to exhaust yourself in technical, legal, or administrative tasks. Administrative management is often a barrier to creating an association. 

By joining an association house, you ensure that you have external professional support that allows you to dispense with heavy and time-consuming tasks.

Because it is not possible to work in isolation.

In any non-profit organization, except for rare exceptions, the need to establish links with other associations is quickly felt.

It is difficult to develop projects alone. Some subsidizing authorities, in fact, require that projects be proposed by several associations.

Collaborations are often beneficial. They allow for exchanges of ideas, best practices, resources, etc.

By joining an association house, you gain access to a place where it is possible to get to know other players in the associative world, in your sector as well as in others.

Is joining the City just joining another structure ?

No ! Joining La Cité means becoming an actor in the first House of Associations in Brussels.

By becoming a member of La Cité Des Associations, you are entitled to participate in our activities, events, committees within the Cité, and of course our General Assembly. Of course, you are not obliged to do so, and you can also simply benefit from our services.
